Resilio Connect v2.11 and newer supports 2FA for Management Console local Admins and Users. Resilio Connect uses software tokens for MFA.
Known limitations
1) Super Admins cannot enable 2FA for other users in the MC. Each user must login and enable it for own account individually, and this change gets recorded into the audit.log file.2) 2FA is not supported for Domain users (Azure AD). Only local MC users can enable 2FA. Azure AD user security is handled controlled by how Administrators set up their Azure Security.
MC internet connection
Your Management Console must have an internet connection to process 2FA requests.
1) ENABLE 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
In advance, you might want to download any 2FA authentication app for a mobile or desktop, Google Authentication, Microsoft Authenticator App or Authy are the most popular, but any Authenticator App will work. To enable 2FA a user must login to the account and click 'Enable' in general settings
Follow the steps from the screen. Enter the code from step 2 to the application or scan the QR code from withing the authentication app on a mobile. A new 6-digits code will be displayed to you. Enter it to the filed on step3 and click verify.
If all was correct, the sign-in section will show that 2FA is enabled. Otherwise error "Failed to verify authentication code" will be displayed.
2) USE 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
After you enter username\password to login to MC, you'll be prompted for the authentication code. Open the authentication app and enter the currently displayed 6-digits code.
3) DISABLE 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
Surprise! You will also need to enter the authentication code if try to disable 2FA for your account.
